Principal responsibilities
? Responsible for performing development work of the Payments & Cash Management Systems. This includes design, programming and testing of the new function & facilities and the on-going systems support of live systems
? Test and fix problems of IT systems and implement fixes to production. This involves investigating the live system faults, diagnosing problems propose and providing solutions
? Ensure project and system documentation are complete, accurate and up-to-date
? Ensure a high standard of quality on programs and systems delivered
? Maintain internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy and maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring
Requirements
? University degree in computer science, IT or a related discipline
? Familiar with software development using Java, XML, DB2, SQL preferred
? Previous experience in Financial Industry is definitely an advantage
? Good analytical, organization and methodical thinking skills
? Ability to work independently and make decisions with limited supervision and direction
? Fast learner and able to grasp project cultures, flow of different systems and organization structure quickly
? Result oriented, self-motivated and willing to take on new responsibilities to make the project a success
? Capable of working under pressure and effectively managing priorities to meet tight timelines
? Strong communication and interpersonal skills
? Fluent in written/spoken English, local language proficiency is an advantage.
